Reenabling safely removed USB drive

I have accidentally "Prepared for safe removal" my card reader. How do I re-enable it? Windows Device Manager tells me I need to unplug it from the USB port and plug it in again. Problem is, I can't do that - it's an internal card reader!

Rebooting the PC should let it redetect all connected hardware.

There may be a quicker and easier way though.
