Well...I have Windows Vista and my Recycle Bin has been giving me some trouble......Here's the trouble...when I delete things, the only items that show up are the ones i delete while the recycle bin is open. Like....if i have the recycle bin open and i delete something, it shows up and says there is actually an item in the recycle bin (it says the correct number), BUT if i close the recycle bin and reopen it, the folder says 0 items again (but shows it's full) and there are no items showing...then when 'Empty Recycle Bin' is clicked, it asks if i'm sure i want to delete # items.......is there something else i can do so the items show up all all the time?

You can delete the Recycle Bin.

To get it back:

-Right-click the Desktop

-select Personalize

-select Change Desktop Icons

-place a checkmark in Recycle Bin
