recovery disc of one model on the other model

Specs: Windows Vista
i have got two toshiba model (satellite A100) uses centrino processor with windows xp pro as os and the other one(satellite A135) with core 2 duo processor 1gb ram which has windows vista home premium as OS.i would like to change over the os of second laptop (A135) to windows xp pro.can i use the first laptop's recovery disc (contains xp pro os) to install the xp pro os on the second laptop which until now has vista home premium ? can u pls tell me that the recovery disc meant for xp pro os with centrino processor laptop compatible with system that runs on core to duo processor?

No, the OS that came with each unit, is tied to that unit and not transferable. OEM licences can not be moved from one computer to another.
The hardware is also different and requires the correct drivers for each.
To install XP Pro on the A135, you would have to purchase XP Pro, find all the required XP drivers for it on the Toshiba website, backup all your data files, format the drive, clean install XP, then reinstall all your programs.
