Reply: (edit)Vista doesn't really have anything to do with document support in M$ Word. If the Word 2007 file is saved in the appropriate format (.doc) that is compatible to Word 2003, then it should open just fine.

Reply: (edit)Hi a friend had issues with word07 saving as doc apparently it becomes a docx file no use for ealier versions of word so on save select 'Word 97-2003'.
