Re formating

i had a new hard drive installed a while ago and before,when i had a problem,i had the option restore to factory image but now i dont.my question is will i have to run the drivers and utilities disc on re boot and that is it or is there another disc i have to re install, and also is it prety straight foreward? many thanks to you, steven collier

My guess is your old hard drive contains the OEM restore partitioin. Either copy that partiion over or contact the maker of the computer for cd/dvd's to restore. Playing to the angels Les Paul (1915-2009)

Summary: Can you use Vista Startup Repair option by booting off to Vista DVD ? Maybe you have to re-create the removed partition and re-format it before you refer to the Vista repair option. Regards SuatCINI...
