Pull only pictures from 5 backup disks created

Specs: Windows 7
how can i pull only my pictures from the 5 back up disks that i created for my laptop computer?

It depends on what you used to create the back-up disks. If you are referring to the manufacturer's reinstallation disks that you are nagged to create then they won't have your pictures on anyway, they are just system installation. If you used a program to do it - Norton, Acronis or whatever, then with some you can extract individual files, some you can't.

i cant remember specifically what i created them with but i know the images are on there as i managed to view some thru a converted image app. The problem was that it may have tried to reinstall the back up on the laptop I used to try and view on as the computer was incredibly slow during the process and i was unable to copy the files

Yes, if they were created with a specific app then you will almost certainly have to reinstall the app to get to them. You may get some clues by looking at what the filetypes are on the backup disks.
