Comment: Hi, I have been having a strange problem with my computer lately: programs, specifically video games, will crash with a c0000005 or Access Violation error. I noticed this problem a few months ago when installing a video game, but assumed I just needed a new graphics card, but now I am getting this problem in multipul programs. Unreal Tordament 3 beta, for instance, crashes after the splash screen comes up. I used a debugger and got this: (5a0.a08): Access violation - code c0000005 (first chance) First chance exceptions are reported before any exception handling. This exception may be expected and handled. eax=037c07e0 ebx=00000000 ecx=00000000 edx=090a22b0 esi=02fca740 edi=090a2300 eip=00ea5553 esp=0032d118 ebp=ffffffff iopl=0 nv up ei pl nz na po nc cs=001b ss=0023 ds=0023 es=0023 fs=003b gs=0000 efl=00010202 *** ERROR: Symbol file could not be found. Defaulted to export symbols for UT3.exe - UT3+0xaa5553: 00ea5553 8b08 mov ecx, dword ptr [eax] ds:0023:037c07e0=???????? I get this same error in other games and programs, when I do certain things like try to load certain levels or try to load certain files.
