This "Interactive services dialog detection" message keeps poping up. It says "A program can't display a message on your desktop" when I click "show me the message" it displays "Runtime Error - Program: C:\Windows\SMINST\BLService.exe" It has something to do with Microsoft Visual C++. Not sure how to fix the problem, but help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Have you had any luck resolving this problem? I have the same problem with my new HP Pavilion and HP C4380 printer. Any help would be appreciated.

I too get the exact message popping up every minute or so. However I don't think it is necessarily a printer related problem. It occured upon insalling a usb aircard in my case and I've read other instances where a variety of devices getting the same message. I believe it is a windows script problem and might be solved through holding Microsoft accountable here. Any input is welcome.
