Comment:

Opening programs in the start menu used to work then went
down to browser and acrobat but not word etc. Quick
launch only works sometimes. It also takes for ever to start
up, much slower than XP I've got service pack 1, which
should make it better?

Are you saying you didn't have these problems before SP1, or have you always used SP1 ? I doubt that SP1 is the cause.

As it starts up yo get on the user screen take about 40 or 50
seconds. Then sometimes, more often than not you have to
wait minutes to be able to open programs, browsers
normally. Is there a way of setting tje start menu to open all
stored opened programs?
