Problems Centering screen on laptop, no MSE

Specs: Windows Vista
i tried left clicking on me lap top and tried to drag screen when the arrow was lined up with the edge I wanted to move, but nothing happens!! I can move it down (the wrong way to open up and center the screen, but it will not move up or out to drag the screen to center

as Phil says, your query is somewhat unclear.

always advise make and full model number of device concerned.

I think you need to right (not left) click to move.

Sounds a little as though the display is off screen. This often happens when there has been a second display attached (and now removed) and the desktop was "stretched" over the two displays?

Make/model of computer would be helpful at any time

Which particular screen do you mean, desktop, browser, word or some other? Or is it all screens that are misplaced?

Where does "No MSE" fit in?
