problem with video call in messenger2009

when i call my bf he can see me and hear me properly, i can hear him fine but in both video windows i have pictures of us both replacing themselves all the time (i can see myself and after 3 sec. i can see my bf and then again myself etc.) could u help me somehow?

To be honest, Skype is much better than Messenger for video calls! The video is clearer and you can go to full screen if you wish. Computers... designed to entertain,help with work but most of all to frustrate you!
