problem with DEP

I recenty had a virus removed and all my programs where erased. Now upon reinstalling them when trying to access them DEP continues to blook them even though i change to allow access it said need to run with DEP

Check the settings for DEP. Right click My Computer and select Properties then click the Advanced tab. In the Performance box, click Settings then Data Execution Prevention tab. The top option should be selected, sounds like the bottom one might be.
