Problem: Vista Shutdown=Re-Start !?

Clean install windows Vista ultimate running great, everything run well ...until I try to shutdown my pc... it just won't. Instead it restarting/ reboot. I have all windows update uptodate . and no conflict reported in device manager.

If you are running AC97 Realtek audio, uninstall and then try. I have the same problem with mine and it is the Audio Drivers does the same with the first to last driver. Realtek doesn't have a clue as to why. Audio itself works perfect Vista takes anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes to shut it down. Presently using USB Sound to see if Realtek ever figures it out.
