i try to install a new copy of XP on my pc it become
hang.i happen when copying file from cd to Hard Disk.
what can i do?

If it is hanging at the blue screen while copying setup files.
I had the same problem, it was a faulty RAM stick.
Memtest 86 can check for memory errors.
It could also be a hard disk problem.
UK MP's are thieving scumbags.
EU members are worse.

What does XP have to do in Vista forum section ?
If you have wiped Vista off of your PC and are trying to install XP, then check M/B BIOS for proper configuration for XP installation. XP cannot be installed if you have a SATA hard disk and your M/B is configured as SATA / AHCI operation. You should set it to Compatibility / IDE mode or you should supply SATA drivers during XP installation via a diskette.
Hope the above helps.

Another factor is that if the system currently has Vista on it a copy of XP will not install since it is older.
