Problem downloading and very slow access

hii..I recently bought an ASUS laptop. Model is ASUS notebook U80v,U80A series.. it has intel core 2 duo cpu T6500 @2.10 GHz... 4 GB RAM and 64-bit processor.... My problem is that I feel that it runs really slow. The downloads are very slow.. its not my net connection b/c same thing downloads fast in other computer... n the download suddenly stops also(online videos and files)...Can anyone help please???

are you using wireless or ethernet on the laptop?

Try the ethernet then and see if you still have the problem. Disconnect it from the PC and use that line or just add another ethernet cable to the wireless router and try.
