I just installed Vista Ultimate this morning, and I'm having some problems with it (as you probably can figure out). I have an HP PSC 750 All In One. Everything works well EXCEPT that there is one setting that won't stay saved. It always changes itself. I had the same problem in XP, but using the drivers from HP solved the problem. But now, HP does not even plan to make the drivers for Vista, and tells me to use MS's drivers. Running the 2k/XP driver installation executable in compatibility mode doesn't work b/c it doesn't even overwrite Microsoft's drivers, but it shows that it completed successfully. IMO, all hope is lost. But is there a possibility that I'm missing something? Thanks

You ought to consider yourself lucky that you could even install the drivers. Many have to upgrade their printers upon migrating to Vista.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I've pretty much had no problems at all with drivers in Vista other than this. And it is minor. Guess I'll have to live with it. For the most part, I really like Vista on 512MB (who needs Aero?).
