Hi everyone, can you please help me with this...

Everytime I try to turn on or use my printer I get this annoying error saying

"C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtbx01.exe

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel"

A similar error happens in my HP Solutions center but it was HP_IZE.exe, however this was easily fixed by setting the Solutions Center launcher to run in admin mode.

The answer to my problem is clear, but I don't know how. Which .exe launches with the printer and needs to access hpqtb01.exe, so that I could set it to run in admin mode?

thanx for your time

nope, my printer is in the Photosmart series not officejet (Photosmart C3180). I have used that site for verification and my hpqtbx01 is valid.

Last time I deleted it it only spawned more errors so I don't think I should. I think I just need to give my printer admin rights since that worked for the Solutions Center (question is how)

alright, after numerous trial and error of enabling and disabling admin rights, I finally found the exe

its

C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqpprop.exe

hope this helps people that get the same annoying error
