Comment: Hi been suffering freezes during games ive done all sorts of tests on hd, ram all my drivers are up to date i thought i had tracked the problem to power supply one peticular reading which was my +3.3v which was at +3.25 i was told on another forum that this would be my problem and to upgrade my 500w psu so i bought a 750w which i thought would be good but now everything rigged up the reading is even lower now +3.22v i went on a crysis server and it froze. these freeze cannot be recovered from i have to hit my reset button ive checked error messages and at the time of the freeze it says its a kernal whea error. fatal bus or interconnect time out error, any ideas anyone. oh yes its not over heating either the cpu idles at 23 to 25C and the mb is idling at 27C the cpu may increase tov 40 42C when running a game like crysis and the GPU temp is 40C. Hope someone can help me . Thanks

Reply: (edit)What are the specs on the new 750 watt PSU, and what brand is it ? The quality of the PSU and the specs, such as the amps on the +12v rail, are important as well as the number of watts. You might have done better by buying another high quality 500 watt PSU instead of a 750 watt PSU if it's of low quality.
