possible DNS issue with computer

Specs: Windows Vista
How do I... In the past few days, my computer suddenly loses its connection to the internet-wireless connection is good, however. This happens intermittently, and when use " diagnose problem", says a possible DNS cinfiguration issue. How does one fix this? I have Windows vista.

Try disconnecting your router from the power supply, then plug it back in.
That's known as a "hard reset".

After plugging it back in, wait until all it's lights have stopped flashing.
Try connecting to the internet on your computer.

I am not using a router--I use the verizon wireless hot spot.

If you've had no luck so far try this.

Open a command window: Start menu, type CMD in search box, right-click on CMD and Run as administrator.

In the command window type: ipconfig /all >%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt You can copy then right-click in the command window to paste)

That will place a text file on your desktop. Paste the results here and someone hopefully can interpret them.
