I'm trying to forward a port on my Vista PC... I know I've got my router setup correctly because when I disable Vista firewall my program works as it should. But when I re-enable the vista firewall, my program is blocked again.
I've already added the program to the vista firewall exceptions, but still no good.
I get the feeling there's something else I still need to do with setting up the vista firewall... but I'm lost currently.
Any tips on forwarding a port on the vista firewall??
... after getting the port fowarded I'll have to test... will report back if it works or not.
Also... yes I know Windows firewall generally sucks... but for some reason the newest Vista versions of ZoneAlarm crash my PC... so I'm waiting for them to get the bugs out. In the mean time, Vista firewall is all I've got (besides my router).
