My friend called and said they are having a problem with a lot of pop ups coming through on his Compaq CQ50-139WM Laptop PC w/ Intel Celeron Processor 575 running windows vista. He said that the pop up blocker is activated on internet explorer. I am not running vista nor do i know a lot about it at this time so i was wondering if any of you fine people in this forum could give me some suggestions or a pop up blocker software they might run well besides the one with internet explorer. This person is not computer savy at all and i was wondering if it might be something in his history or temp internet files that might be triggering the pop ups.
