* AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 (2.0GHz)
* Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium
* 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
* 250GB 5400rpm Serial ATA hard drive
* 8x Multi-Format Dual Layer DVDRWokay im not an extreme computer person but i know enough to know there is someone hacking my computer, randomly off and on a tiny black box appears in the corner of my screen and displays letters and some symbols, i have mcafee security center im not sure which version but its very recent i just bought the computer in august i havent been getting virus notices so whatever it is virusscan cant find it,i scanned about 5 times. it disabled features in mcafee. a security notice appeared in the system tray by the clock and i clicked it and it said systemguard was disabled so i fixed it then 5 minutes later it happened again 2 times in about 10-15 minutes then another warning popped up and this time a whole bunch of features were diabled i fixed it and realized maybe mcafee just sucks so i downloaded malwarebytes anti malware and it didnt find anything either i dont know what to do i dont like the thought of someone hacking my stuff and the whole letter code thing kinda freaked me out
also i normally use firefox im on firefox right now but when i opened my internet explorer through windows live messenger to get my password to log in here as i just made the account it starts to log on to the msn network because you can see the address in the bar nd the lock and it turns green then it took me here http://gremit.com/syncfg.php and it just said stats about a computer which im assuming is mine just in plain text on a white background heres what it saysen-ca|Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618)
i looked it up and it said that its malware and to get malwarebytes and i did and it isnt finding anything but apparently its a standard virus because ive found people on other forums who have had the same problem but the letter thing really freaked me out it was a black box with green letters and symbols changing like 3-4x a second i tried to read it but it was just jibberish but it might not be jibberish to a hacker or programmer i didnt write it down i should have PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visual artifacts in Vista and IE redirecting around the MS
website don't necessarily mean your computer is being
hacked.McAfee has a firewall in it, that's your protection against
being hacked. If that hasn't given you any warnings I
really don't think you're being hacked.The lettering in the corner of the screen sounds a little
worrying though. If the computer is new as you say, I'd
suggest there was something wrong with it when you
bought it, maybe try talking to Gateway support.Sam
Biscuits are good, but keep the crumbs off your keyboard!

thanks for your input but no this is relly serious it can control my mcafee every once in while maybe 30mins to an hour it disables a bunch of its features right infront of me even when security center is open and im looking right at it it disables real time scanning, IM scanning, firewall and spyware and potentially unwnted programs scanning so i turn it back on then it turns back off ive been doing some research and i think its some sort of highly sophisticated rootkit or something but no virus spyware or rootkit program can find anything

You're pretty much hosed.
Lay off the p0rn...
Medion MIM 2080
Toshiba T2130CT
Macintosh Performa 450All working wonderfully.

Disconnect from your ethernet and wireless and use the PC awhile offline to see if it happens again. If so, you're probably not being hacked.
