Is the RAM in Computer 2 expandable to at least 2 GB ? Also, do they cost the same ? Not considering cost, a quick recommendation would be Computer 2.

i presume that computer #1 is significantly smaller than computer 2. computer #1 comes with a nice 7k2 rev hard drive, computer #2 has a more powerful CPU and the better graphics solution. the optical drive in #1 could be just a combo drive.

you can't really compare the two laptops. if you value portability then #1 is better for you, if you want to play games and watch movies on it, then get #2
