I have a bunch of photo CDs and would like to transfer the images to a SD memory card. Any suggestions on how to do it? If it can't be done that way, how would I copy the images from the PCs hard drive to the SD card? Thanks.

An SD card is just another drive as far as the computer's concerned, so you copy to and from it the same as any other drive. Select the files, copy and paste to the new location.

You need a card reader, either one that is built in your PC or an external one.
When you insert the SD card into the card reader's slot, it will appear as a drive. After that, you can do whatever you want with the card. Drag&drop. Copy&paste. Delete. Format.

Yes I was able to copy pictures from my PC to SD card just like any storage device using the card reader built in from my computer. Nothing special. It won't work if you put the SD card in the camera or at least with mine and some other friends that tried.
