Trying to use ps/2 keyboard with laptop which does not have a ps/2 port, got myself a $2 adaptor ps/2 to usb, but Windows message says usb doesn't like it, or something like that....do i have to buy a new keyboard?!

Why mess about, for an extra $5 that you spent on the adaptor you could buy a new keyboard.
