are you talking about IE8?

'When i try to open up a window it can take upto 20 mins or not at all'

If it is IE8 , try uninstalling it and reverting to IE7.
You can also try start and then right click on IE and left click on properties. Click on advanced and then click on reset internet explorer. See if that helps.

Other than that you can try an alternate browser like Firefox if you'd like.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
