I want to do as some people have suggested, install Vista RC1 on a seperate partition, because last time I had no end of trouble trying to delete the Beta2 O/S from within XP, with access denied messages etc, but if I installed on a partition then i'd just be able to delete it when I wanted to get rid of it.

Thing is, Parition Magic won't let me create a partition above 2.5GB on my drive, even though there is 27GB available free space. Also, NTFS is selected, so it's not like I'm trying to create a FAT16 parition (which obviously Vista wouldn't support anyway) I have checked the drive for errors and there are none. What could be going on?

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, I got this sorted by changing the permission settings on my drive - they were all messed up as I had installed Vista on there before. No idea why that'd have restricted the parition size (and also, the max size offered was 25GB when I had 47GB free...)

But oh well, done now.
