Please can someone help. I can spell check my e-mails in Outlook (2007) but I cannot add any words to the dictionary which I find VERY frustrating. Surely there is a way and I would be grateful for anyone who can help. I am running Vista.

Look towards the bottom next to language. Doesn't it say, edit custom dictionary?

No. I have a button which says spelling and autocorrection and within that lots of options e.g. ignore words in upper case etc. and a button for autocorrect options but nothing to edit !
