Hi Guys,

Recently A Very Strange Thing Is Happening to My Laptop.I Had A User Of My Name Which was Administrator,But When I Started The PC Today I Saw Another User On The Log On Screen Called The "Other User".This Other User Asks Me For A Username And Password.I Am Able To Log In My Account But Now It Is A Guest Account And I Cant Install Anything.

My Laptop Is Vista Home Premium And Therefore I Cant Go To Local User And Group. When I Type "Control Userpasswords2" From Run I Cant Access It As I'm A Guest. The Other User Is Not Listed In The User Accounts Too.

Please Help Me........

Smacks of unauthorised access and user priveledges / restrictions being applied.

You can try to activate the hidden administrator account in Vista. Hopefully you are able to successfully log into it so you can take care of "other user" and troubleshoot.

Have a look at the linked page below, it outlines a few methods to activate or enable the hidden administrator account. Hopefully one of them works for you.
