Operating system now found

Long story short I now get the "Operating system not found" error. When I click repair of the installation cd, it open the command prompt but it has X:\Sources> (and I cant make it my c drive). Vista is still installed and it working fine, just that it cant boot it. Any ideas I can get it back?

If you have a floppy diskette drive, check that there is no non-system floppy diskette forgotton in it.
If not, maybe PATA/SATA and/or power connectors to your HDDs have come loose or master boot record/master file table damaged.
