How Do I Connect To The Internet With Windows 98

how do i connect to the internet with windows 98. It also has has internet explorer version 6
I believe it is set for dial up modem. However I can look at hard drives in other computers I have through att local network I have. (I have high speed ATT serivce.)

      How do you want to connect? Wireless or ethernet cable? If wireless, you’ll need an wireless adapter. Either a PCI card or USB adapter but make sure it supports Win98.

      You’ll also need a different browser. Try K-Meleon or Maxthon…IceDragon may also work. You can find them here: http://filehippo.com/software/inter…

      And you may have to disable the dial-up in Internet Options. Click the Connections tab & check the box for “”Never dial a connection”.
