Solved not geting a connection, after trying to re-set

Specs: Windows Vista
I am using powerline link plugs,I have no connection having plugged into router to desktop computer, I'm getting top and bottom lights on link plugs but middle light is faint, I have tried reseting by pressing underside button, this flashes all 3 lights then middle one dulls,please help.

Please provide the makers name and model number of the Powerline adapters.

Mostly you plug one into the router and domestic power and the other into the computer and domestic power. You then go through a sequencing procedure on both adapters, which will vary with particular makes.

I've found they usually work very well.

Hi Derek, my powerline adapter is model TL-PA211, I'd already done all that you had suggested with no joy, eventually I read up about my particular model and it is slightly different from what you suggested, I put both powerline plugs into a double socket, By pressing both underside buttons on the powerline plugs for about 10 seconds at the same time together (BINGO) all lights came on and the plugs were paired up, (this was after trying 3 times,) but in the end I got them paired, Thank you for your info, much appreciated.
