I have downloaded movies on my laptop but when I transfer them to a USB to watch on my TV some play fine but others have no sound. The picture is fine. How can I get the sound to work on all movies? Thanks.
Here is the manual for my TV. On page 32 it gives the supported file formats.

What settings should I have for coverting with File Factory?
Do the downloaded movie files play well while on HDD ? I ask this because, if these files play on the HDD, then there may be some configuration files, such as .ini files, that point to a path in them like C:\Users\….. When you move the files to USB, the association might get lost. If this is the case, then you can edit the .ini files to point to new location of the USB drive, indicating the drive letter of the USB drive and the folder, etc. the movie files are in.
The audio bit rate is too high for the TV. I have two TVs. Both TVs play video fine but only one of them plays the audio. It seems the slightly older TV can not handle high audio bit rates. You can use a video converter program to convert the video and reduce the audio bit rate. This should take about 20mins.
to check the audio bit rate of your file. Right click the file – properties – details.video with a high audio bit rate of 448kbps will not play on the slightly older TV. Bit rates seem to vary from video to video.
