Comment:

I have the All-in-Wonder 3650 graphics card. Today I tried to set up live TV...no go. Media Center says there is no TV tuner card connected. I hooked up my OTA antenna to the back of the card and launched Media Center and went thru the set up. It looked as though it was working but afterwards when clicking on live TV I get the message that there is no tuner card configured to work with MC. I went thru the set up again but still no luck. Can someone help with this? Thanks.

Did the card ever work? When the card was installed was the driver disk used so Windows can see it? Are you replacing an original card with a newer or more featured one?

Yes, card was installed correctly. It shows up in Device Manager fine, however, Catalyst Control System does not launch when I click to start it. Can this have something to do with it? No HDTV tuner shows up in Device Manager either; should it?

Forgot about your other question; this is a newly built system and the card is new. It did not replace another card.

FYI. I consulted the Microsoft Knowledge Base and Media Center does not work with ATI All in Wonder cards. It is listed on the Vista Compatibility List but even so the article says it will not work with Media Center. I installed the Catalyst Media Center which comes with the card and had no problems scanning for channels and viewing live TV.
