hello. just set up my new packard bell imedia 2316aio and everything seems fine except i can't get any sound through my advent ade-210f speakers, although they work fine on my old computer. i've tinkered with the volume mixer and the sound/audio managers and everything seems fine and the computer is telling me everything's playing ok. i've downloaded all available windows updates and device manager updates as well. the operating system is windows vista home premium. many thanks in advance, it's doing my head in.
