Hello.
While I was gone, I unplugged power supply for a few days (save the Earth XD).
Then when I turn on the computer...no signal no beep but fan is working.
I just plugged in and push the switch.

I opened my case and noticed lots of dust in power supply and video card fan.
I cleaned it up. try again... still no signal ,no beep but fan is working.

next, I tried boot system up with minimum component (CPU,video card, one memory).
still not working...
but I noticed, when I start computer, fan moved about 1 sec then shutdown for a few sec and then moved again. (restarting?)
and also noticed, only if I boot without memory MB beep like -.. -.. -..

does anyone know what is going on??
I checked my LCD is fine.
but I don't have any extra component...
what should I replace first?

Thank you

Your CPU/HSF may have been dislodged somehow.

- Unplug the PSU (What model is it?)

- Crack the case open.

- Remove add-on components.

- Clean the components to get rid of crud.

- Remove the CPU/HSF & *clean* them out too.

- Reinstall the CPU/HSF & make sure that the HSF is securely fastened to the motherboard.

- Reconnect your components & the PSU.

- Fire it up & you should be good to go. That is, unless your PSU is faulty.

*Remember to cleanup & reapply a fresh coat of thermal glue after removing the old paste.

Thank you for your advice.
My PSU is Rosewill RD450-2DB.

I did what you listed...
still nothing.
I guess my PSU is dead or cannot provide enought power or smt.

I will get new PSU tomorrow and see if it works or not.

thanks again

In that case, I wouldn't doubt the PSU being faulty, because who knows who it is really from.

If you research the applicable UL File Number (ex. E12345) for that PSU, you'll be able to confirm Rosewill didn't actually make your PSU. They are an infamous rebadge company. Essentially, they select items made by other--usually lesser known--companies, affix their brand label on it & pass them off as their manufactured product.
