I have a custom built PC running windows vista 32 home edition. I had a problem with my RAM. When I got it figured out and put back together I now get the error message "no operating system found". I have 2 WD raptors 10,000rpm in raid config. Would I get this error if my BIOS was reset? What can I do to fix it. I don't want to do a reinstall because I have thing on the HD'd I don't want to loose. Any suggestions??

I'm no expert, but have you checked the startup menu in bios ?
Make sure Harddisk is set as number 1 boot device and Cd/dvd number 2 !
I guess if bios was resetted it went back to factory settings so maybe cd/dvd is your number 1 boot device now ?
All i know is that your harddisk should run fine no matter how many times you reset the bios. I've resetted my bios too earlier, but i didn't have any problem running the harddisk.

Even if you have the CD/DVD drive set as the first boot device in the bios, your computer would still be able to boot from the HD. You should check to see if the hard drives are recognized in the bios. If yes, what mode is SATA set to ? You may have lost the raid setting.
