No internet when I have a connection

Specs: Windows Vista
I'm on a Windows Vista laptop, and after hours of browsing the internet nothing no longer loads. It's like I don't have a connection but I still have the globe on the icon on the start toolbar and on the networks screen I still have an excellent signal. I've looked it up and it seems to be a common problem but it doesn't do this on my desktop so it has to be this computer. Everything does seem to go back to normal only when I've rebooted the whole computer. I've tried resetting the network and that doesn't work. It isn't Firefox but it's the same on Messenger and IE

Windows Vista has an attitude problem regarding this, I swear..

Okay, wireless networking. Try reinstalling the drivers first, this will make any current software problems irrelevant when it comes to receiving an internet connection. You can find all the drivers for your computer on the manufactures website by looking the computer up by the model/serial number if available.

Once those are reinstalled, reboot your computer and see how long it lasts.

I hope this helps, it worked for me.
