Comment: My friend has a Toshiba laptop with Vista Premium. It has a cd player but it does not show up as a drive. How can this be? If you put a music cd in the cd drive and press the music button on the keyboard it plays the music. But if you put any other type cd in the cd drive there is no way of accesing it. Has anyone ever run across this before ? Harold

Reply: (edit)The question was "Do you see Drive D icon?" Hitting the winkey +E together merely opens Windows Explorer it won't make the player work! Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!
