New Vista build

Self build / N/A

Specs: WinXP, 1.5Ghz, 256MB
I am nearing the completion of a self build that will have Windows Vista on it. I only need to get monitor, keyboard and mouse. I am thinking of a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, possibly the EX110 from Logitech. Can you format the drive and install Vista with a wireless KB/mouse? I would think you can't, because the drivers haven't been installed yet? Does this mean I have to have two keyboards and two mice? Thanks.

I've had a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for many years now & you can. Your motherboard's BIOS should have a USB keyboard/mouse setting that you need to have enabled.

No you don't need drivers for them to install Vista, if you needed to enable them in bios, how would you do that without the keyboard working?
