Specs: Windows Vista, AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+/ 4 gigs ram
Hello all! This will be my first post on this site. I appreciate all help. So I recently bought a new computer. Real nice system lots of bang for the buck. This system came with no operating system so I then purchased Windows Vista32 bit. Much to my demise I found out that Vista32 bit will not recognize the entire 4 gigs of ram. So I dont know I really dont want to purchase another OS (64 bit)due to spending extra money right now and I know from a gaming perspective the roughly 3gigs it is recognizing is fine atleast probably for a couple years. What I do want to know and am worried about though is that is there more I dont know? Is there anything else about using Vista 32 bit that would effect my system negatively?

Bet there are a few sites already on how to use that ram.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Yea ok did you have any specific sites in mind or are you just venturing a guess? Ill google later (no time now) however this still does not answer my original question about there being ANY OTHER adverse effects of using Vista 32 bit. Thanks for the tip though I guess.
