i have an hp laptop with vista and a pc with xp pro please help im a amazing with computers but lost with networking umm i have a trendnet wireless router but i have no idea what i have to do to be able to view files on the pc on my laptop please help me

it ain't easy. you must get into the properties of the vista network connection, advanced, and search for the user 'everyone' and add to the users list. make sure you 'share' harddrives on both computers, and file and print sharing in the vista. just look it over closely, its really self explanatory
