I'm streaming content from my main PC to a Vista MCE PC hooked up to my TV. About 2 days ago it started to pause and then stutter... the video will pause and the audio will stop, then the video speeds through a few seconds and the audio plays normal, the video will then slow and stutter until the audio catches up.
My main PC is wired to the router, while my Vista MCE is wireless.
I've tried changing wirelesss channels, resetting both PCs and the router.
I think the problem is on my main PC, as when it starts to do this... all the other computers can not connect to my main PC, but my main PC can connect to them. After a restart this "problem" is fixed until the next "network stutter".
I'm about ready to re-install Vista but wanted to ask about any other solutions to way Vista would randomly allow and then deny access to my PC. I've turned off all the firewalls and Virus protection as well.
The probem does happen with another router and when I wire all the PCs to both routers as well. Also, the problem does NOT happen when I stream data from another PC ((an identical PC with identical software, hardware and updates)).
TK.

PROBLEM EXPLANATION
I think that the wireless connection is not fast enough for the data to be tranfered at a sustainable rate.SOLUTION 1
Use a fater routerSOLUTION 2
Use a optimisation programSOLUTION 3
Use smaller filesNeed help with computers. Stay away from Microsoft.
