Hello friends, I am trying to help my friend who is having Vista Home on his PC. He is having problems with internet access. Now, he is getting a ip address from ISP which I already verified for him but still cant access internet. Internet Exp 7 tries to locate the website and times out. I first thought to be something with phishing filter that may be taking too much of time to load a page. Now, I already disabled phising filter from Tools menu but no luck. As all you may be knowing there is 'Network Discovery' in Vista Network and Sharing Centre in control panel. Do I need to turn 'Network Discovery' on to get internet working? After googling and going throug MS site found its something to do with file sharing and not internet access. Can anyone help please? Thank You Networkid "Try more achieve more"

go to accessories, cmd type in ipconfig/release then, ipconfig/renew the server or router should access the internet then
