Comment: hello there, can you someone help me out here please... i tried doing network bridging with network which goes to my xbox 360 and it just doesnt work. this is my setup: wireless internet bridged with a network adapter (the network adapter is connected to the xbox 360 via a cable.) i don't get internet for both of them...can someone help me out please

Reply: (edit)I don't suspect you want bridging. You would want either ICS or some other proxy. See analogx's proxy or the help and support pages on internet connection sharing. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10

Reply: (edit)Yes, the simple way of connecting the X-box and share the Internet conection is by enabling the ICS in the Wireless connection in which you get Internet. Here is the steps to be folowed...... Go to start search and type ncpa.cpl and hit enter. This will open Network connection window. Now you can right click on the wireless LAN and click on properties and you will have a TAB which says Advanced. Just goahead and put a check mark on the two Boxes under INternet connection sharing. Now ICS is enabled and the LAN through which the X-BOX is connected will accqire the class C Adress.Now restart both X-Box and Vista Machine and this should work. -Joanne MCSE Windows Platform
