I started my computer on and I got the message as below:
"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile.Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile,..contact your admin..."
Then...
"Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Change you make to this profile will be lost."

I lose all the data: Excel, word files, music files...How can I repair?

you need to enabled

1. Open System by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.

2. In the left pane, click System Protection. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

3. To turn on System Protection for a hard disk, select the check box next to the disk, and then click OK.

I could not find "System and Maintenance" from Control Panel, there is "System" only. I just double-checked my computer , it is Windows XP, not Vista. Please tell me what I should do again?
