Dazed January 6, 2011 at 11:38:00 Specs: Windows Vista
I have put the window disc into the cd-rom,restart and when ask to boot from disc press any buttons nothing happen when i press any button.I have even set priority to boot from cd-rom in BIOS,off the anti virus but still nothing happen.
Is this a genuine Windows Vista disk or is it a restore disk you created? A Vista disk will boot at the very least even if the instalation stalls, unless you have a hardware problem. You don't say what problem you are having that has prompted you to try formatting. Note formating the drive will erase all data on the hard drive.
The vista version is not genuine and i tried to reformat using a Genuine XP disc but juz can't figure out why nothing happen when ask to press any button to boot from disc.Any solutions? Not sure there's any hardware problem.Only problems with graphic card.
