Need help: administrator/privilege

Specs: Windows 98se
Hi there,
I am now using desktop with dial up connection to the internet.
I bought a new laptop about a week ago, running on windows vista.

I used a CD and installed my current ISP's software on the laptop and it states that I have a modem on it. I used the phone line and hooked it up to the RJ11 slot on my laptop.

Then, I double clicked to connect to the internet. I get a message saying I have to update some files. It says 'you currently have insufficient privilege to update files. You must be logged on to your computer as an administrator.'
I always log on as the administrator.

Is there a way to solve this ? Pls advise.

Thank you.

There is a hidden administrator account that microsoft hides. To access it run a CMD and type the following exactly," Net user administrator /active:yes"then each time you reboot a new account will appear " Administrator" This account is a type of SuperAdministrator that bypasses the Os's security prompts.
