Solved My PC is Freezing

April 30, 2012 at 13:45:40
Specs: Windows Vista

My PC is freezing and doesn't let me launch alt+del. It says "error" and come back to Desk.
When I start to launch any program or to open Start it freezes and stop freezing about 5 min after it. I don't know what's happening. And to say i have no anti-virus.
Sorry for my english i know it's not the best.

I can't understand why you have no AntiVirus when there are some good free ones about for download, such as:

Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials
AVG

It's harder to get viruses out of a system than preventing them in the first place.

Tap F8 while booting and see if you can get to Safe Mode. If so you could try System Restore.

I am on Safe Mode now and it lags less than in normal mode but i'd try to use CClean to delete if there was something wrong and after it still lagging. I'll try an anti-virus, thanks.

Sorry, I've been away for a few days.

If you are still in trouble add the freebie called "MalwareBytes" to your armoury.
It often finds and fixes things that AV's can miss.

It doesn't run in the background so it won't clash with your AV.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
