My entire wireless network is losing connectivity when I run MSN Messenger. It didn't do this until a few days ago. It actually stopped and was fine, I'd called my cable company thinking that it was there fault.
But today I realized it only disconnects when I connect MSN Messenger. It will turn on, and then my little icon shows the yellow hazard box, and I realize that everyone has been kicked offline until I redo the power on the cable modem/router.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have a new laptop with Vista on it, which I am unfamiliar with. But for about a month there was no problems.
Thank you for any help!

If you are running the new version of windows live try this older one.
Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0178
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...This version still works and might fix your problem.
I don't know what else to tell you.

MSN should not in normal circumstances cause your router to have problems.
Not sure using an older version would help unless you updated it 3 days ago.
Is your router a smc?
